Canberra’s RSPCA is again at breaking point.
The A.CT. Facility has about 400 animals in its care… most of them, CATS.
Several issues are being cited:
sick animals being brought in, that require to be quarantined –
pet owners who don’t de-sex their animals –
Inadequate facilities –
and a lack of resourcing.
The RSPCA’s Canberra boss – Michelle Robertson – says that while the shelter has not turned away any animals, the organisation IS nearing breaking point.
