The R-S-P-C-A has welcomed the news that a Canberra woman has been banned from owning pets for life after her dog, was found severely malnourished, immobile, and infested with maggots.The animal was seized in February and rushed to a vet but did not survive.Magistrate Amy Begley also handed the woman a suspended five-month sentence and an 18-month good behaviour order.
