The AFP is aware of scam emails circulating that claim to be sent by the AFP, including from outgoing Commissioner Reece Kershaw.

The emails warn recipients they’re being investigated for various crimes and may include a fake subpoena or summons.

We will never contact members of the community in this manner. These are scams.
