Investigations continue into a new robocall scam targeting A.C.T. locals

Details of the scam first came to light more a week ago.

The calls claim to be from Canberra Health Services.

While caller I.D. suggests the number is genuine, those contacted are being told to phone another number and pay off a debt.

The service says if you get a call – don’t phone the re-directed number — Do Not Pay… and ensure you don’t pass on any other persoal information.

This matter has been reported to the Australian Cyber Security Centre for further investigation.
