A supportive hand on a Jetstar flight to Canberra has been recognised on social media.

On a recent flight into the national capital, a woman named “JADE” showed signs of anxiety and distress during turbulance – but was comforted by her seat mate – a young girl who gave Jade her Scooby Doo toy.

The pair got separated after arriving in Canberra – so Jade used social media to seek out the child and her mother.

Success! The trio was eventually reunited online, where emotions of gratitude overwhelmed Jade, the girl and her mother.
