Selwyn Snow Resort To Re-Open This Weekend

There is excitement building across the Snowy Mountains region, the resort has faced many challenges to re-open, including delays due to Covid-19 and last year unprecedented weather pushed the building timeframe out, with heavy snowfall early in the season.

The resort was extensively damaged in the 20-20 Black Summer Bushfires, with the multi-million dollar refurbishments including new state of the art snow making machines, ticketing, and a wastewater recycling system.

Selwyn has strong links to snow-based recreation in the region, the world’s first ski club was established at Kiandra by miners in the area in 1861.
