Services Australia has confirmed, there’s been a sharp rise in the number of scams that impersonate government agencies.

In the past financial year, Services Australia says there were more than 10,000 unique impersonation scams… that’s a a rise of nearly 4,000 from the previous year.

General manager HANK JONGEN says its systems have not been compromised and remain secure, but it’s not enough to stop scammers from targeting users.
