Don’t be surprised if your social media platforms get hit by political campaign messages, with the A.C.T. election now just around the corner.

That’s the message from Political analyst DR SUSAN GRANTHAM who says politicians are using social media more these days – to target potential voters.

It all started during the KEVIN 07 campaign – with THEN Opposition leader Kevin Rudd, the first to post messages to twitter.

and with the territory election coming up in October, politicians are ramping up their campaigns, whether it’s traditional media messaging – or through your social media account.
