Canberra home owners with solar batteries are being urged to contact their supplier, in the wake of a voluntary re-call.

It’s implementing a widespread campaign about safety risks involving the battery – with a plan to fix all issues within a 12 month period.

Solar batteries are becoming more popular in Canberra, but there’s been a series of fires ….   some in the A.C.T. – another, just north of Goulburn.

The A Triple C has since become involved, after concerns were raised that LG’s campaign to date was not adequately alerting customers.
