The Severe Weather that passed through the ACT last night and today has caused damage across Canberra.

The ACT State Emergency Service has received 75 requests for assistance and 46 remain outstanding.

Areas around the inner south of the city have been affected the most with several major roads impacted.

Motorists are been asked if possible to avoid Constitution Avenue, Flinders Way, the Western end of Canberra Avenue, the Barton Highway near the Bellenden Street exit and Mugga Lane.
