A strong investment in A.C.T. Policing
The Territory Government continues to talk-up its commitment to local police.
It follows news that 25 news officers a year – for five years – will be brought-in for the service.
Also this week, the A.C.T. Government announced – it would comit money to a feasibility study for a new police headquarters in Canberra.
Chief Minister Andrew Barr says he aims to “empower A.C.T. Officers – to EFFECTIVELY confront the evolving challenges of crime prevention and enforcement”.
