Students report mental health struggles

There has been a rise in the number of young Australians, stressed about their studies.

A survey of a thousand high school and university students has found 56% have poor mental health or wellbeing due to their studies.

Reach Out chief executive Ashley de Silva says that’s up from 25% in previous years.

“It really reflects the added pressures that 2021 has had,” said Mr de Silva.

“Particularly on schooling and education for young people.
