Work is being carried out on the Telstra Tower – but it won’t change the Canberra skyline.

If you’re in a good position to see the tower… you’ll notice a crane.

It’s there for most of this week, to remove an aerial.

It won’t change the timeline on plans to re-open the tower… which the A.C.T. Government says… is on track for 2026, at the earliest.

Hopes remain, the tower can re-emerge as a popular tourist attraction… with suggestions of a cafe, retail and observation deck… and stay a landmark in canberra’s landcasape.
