A tribunal has awarded four international students compensation after their subletter aggressively tried to enforce void house rules.

Amongst verbal and physical threats the subletter threatened to share his tenants’ passport details with the Chinese community and the territory government.

The students were awarded a combined payout of about $4850 which mostly accounted for breaches of the students’ quiet enjoyment.
