It could be another two years before the first tennis ball is served at a new Gungahlin sports facility.

Approval’s been given for the development of a new tennis facility in Amaroo – nearly five years after it was promised by territory authorities.

It’ll come at a cost of about $8-million –

It’ll be built on a site near Horse Park Drive… and include 10 full sized tennis courts.

However, it could be mid 2026 before the facility is up and running.
