A new study’s found – unpaid overtime is having detrimental effects on the mental health of Canberrans.

Many people don’t mind a few extra minutes to finish off workplace duties… but an Australian study has found, it’s having a negative effect on mental health…

CHRIS GAMBIAN’s with Australians for Mental Health who says it’s a time loss for those who end up working more than a 38 hour week without the financial reward.

There’s a cost factor to the research.

Unions calculate it’s about 21-thousand dollars a year in missed wages… per person,
