ACT Police have arrested a 26 year old Theodore man, wanted on a number of weapon and stolen motor vehicle offences.

The man was arrested in Banks and charged with multiple offences including riding a stolen motor vehicle, possessing an offensive weapon, attempted aggravated robbery, property damage, common assault and breaching a family violence order.

The arrest follows a large police operation in Holt on Wednesday to locate the man.

A 20 year old Fisher woman was later arrested in Belconnen in connection with the stolen vehicle and charged with driving a stolen motor vehicle, unlicensed and aggravated dangerous driving, as well as drug possession.
