Three people will be extradited from the ACT, after being arrested in relation to a hit and run in New South Wales in August.

The three are in police custody, and are due to face the ACT Magistrate’s Court where Detectives from NSW Police Force will seek their extradition.

A 26-year-old Yarralumla man, a 43-year-old O’Malley woman and a 20-year-old Coombs man were arrested after an investigation into a hit-and-run incident, in which a New South Wales Police Officer was injured.

The constable suffered serious head injuries and was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Canberra Hospital.

He has since been released and is recovering at home.
