A close contest is expected in moves to replace Johnathan Davis in Brindabella.

The A.C.T. Electoral Commissioner DAVID CANTWELL says he expects at least three contenders to be the outstanding prospects, as the search begins on Friday to fill a casual vacancy.

He says the procedure will take at least another fortnight before we know who wins.
