Police have offered a reason behind a slow-down in arrests involving Operation TORIC.

Police say, the downturn indicates, offences are trending down….

There were about 300 apprehensions during the first year of Operation Toric… but THAT number went down to 200 over the past 12 months.

Authorities also say, individuals who’ve been caught – have been arrested and put before the courts.

Police say Operation Toric has been incredibly successful… contributing to making the Canberra community safer.
