Residents on the South Coast are being urged to get tested for coronavirus after traces of the disease were found in waste water at Batemans Bay.

New South Wales Health says the finding could be from a previous patient who is no longer symptomatic, but is asking anyone with flu-like symptoms to get swabbed.

Yesterday the state recorded its 13th day with no local transmission.
