A 37-year-old Kambah man and a 34-year-old Florey woman will face court today for separate driving incidents overnight.

The man was arrested after police detected him driving in excess of 120km an hour in a 60 zone.

The man stopped the car and abandoned it on foot, without securing it, which led to it rolling back and damaging the police vehicle. The man was apprehended nearby a short time later.

The woman was arrested following a separate incident. After stopping her vehicle, police were conducting checks on the woman’s identity, when she drove away from the stop. She was located a short time later.
