Canberrans are being urged to get a COVID vaccine.
The warning comes following the death of two local men in their 50s.
One of the men was from Queanbeyan and was receiving care at the Canberra Hospital.
He was unvaccinated and had underlying health conditions.
The other man died in his home at Murrumbateman.
He was unvaccinated and receiving virtual care through the Southern New South Wales Health District.
The Territory recorded 30 new cases of covid yesterday.
Queanbeyan and the Snowy Monaro region recorded 4, while 2 were detected Goulburn-Mulwaree.
