A convicted rapist has been sentenced to a minimum two years jail over the 2021 assault of a woman near a Braddon bar.
The accused told police, he had permission, but the victim told the A.C.T. Supreme Court.. no he didn’t.
The pair met at a bar and went across the road for consensual sex, but later, the woman protested.
It was then alleged, he raped her – and also tagged her by using a marking pen to write his name on her skin.. and threatened to publish pictures.
The judge – appeared disgusted….
The man will be eligible for parole in May 2026
