The UC Capitals have announced the return of fan favourite and star US import Nicole Munger for another year.

Now the team’s longest-tenured player, this is set to be Munger’s fifth season in Caps colours.

Munger says she’s incredibly grateful for the chance to return to the Capitals for another season.

“Canberra has become such a special place to me over the years, and I’m so thankful
for the support of the club, the fans, and the wider community,” she says.

Across 23 games in the 2025-26 WNBL season, she averaged 7.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 41.8% from the field.

Head Coach Paul Goriss says he’s looking forward to the consistency and reliability of Munger’s talent and impact.

“Munger is a tenacious defender and can be versatile with our switching defence because of
her pursuit to be disruptive and out-work her opponent.”
