The University of Canberra is celebrating its strongest domestic student enrolments ever, with data showing a growth of 11% in numbers.

Additionally, between Semester one last year and Semester one this year, UC recorded the strongest growth in commencing domestic undergraduate enrolments in the sector.

Vice-Chancellor Bill Shorten says this record intake of 19,432 commencing students can be attributed to the hard work of UC staff and their commitment to putting UC students first.

The most significant growth in enrolments was recorded in the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Secondary Education and Bachelor of Nursing.
