A sentencing date is yet to be set for a 92 year old man, who’s admitted to murdering his wife of 70 years earlier this year in Canberra.

A 92-year-old man has formally admitted murdering his wife of 70 years.

DONALD MORELY appeared in the A.C.T. Magistrates court on Friday – where he confirmed, he’d plea guilty to murdering his wife back in July… – 92 year old JEAN morely.

The court has previously been told of comlexities involving the case.

The judge ordered a pre-sentence report

• the matter returns to court later this month to organise a sentencing date.
