North Canberra has recorded the highest number of vehicle thefts in the A.C.T.

926 vehicles have been stolen over the past financial year

The most were from Braddon. 32 vehicles were taken…

followed by 30 in the city.

Belconnen recorded 28 thefts

Gungahlin had 27.

Kambah and Fyshwick ROUND-UP the worst 5 suburbs for car thefts, with 25 each.

With so many vehicles being stolen across the A.C.T. – police are reminding owners to “LOCK IT or LOSE IT” and to keep keys in a safe, out of sight, location.
