Here in Canberra, some have renewed their calls for more avenues on managing complaints.
Prospective residents are being urged to seek independent financial and legal advice, before entering into a retirement village contract.
Before the election, the territory Government indicated, it would look at changing legislation, to increase transparency that governs the sector.
Currently, there are about 40 retirement villages in the A.C.T. that house about 3,500 residents.
