Canberrans could be granted access to voluntary assisted dying in late 20-25, after legislation was introduced in the Legislative Assembly.
If the legislation passes, a person will be able to access voluntary assisted dying if their illness is advanced, progressive and expected to cause death.
This comes nearly one year after the 25-year ban was reversed by the federal government.
