The A.C.T.’s expected to warm up this week – after recording its coldest weekend for the summer period.

Temperatures plummed to just 3 degrees shortly after 5:00 Sunday morning.

It’s unusual – Canberra’s temperature was 10 degrees cooler than the February average.

The icy start all thanks to a cold front and a southerly change that moved across the territory.

Perisher and Thredbo dipped below freezing – However, temperatures are expected to return to normal later this week.
