The Chief Executive of CIT has been stood down as the Integrity Watchdog Investigates.

The announcement from the board came hours after the Integrity Commission announced it would be investigating 8 point 5 million in contracts awarded to Patrick Hollingworth.

With Leanne Cover directed, and agreeing, to take leave while an internal audit is completed outgoing board chairman Craig Sloan told the Times she would also be subject to a performance appraisal while the audit was conducted.

ACT Integrity Commissioner Michael Adams indicated that witnesses have been called to give evidence, but they must abide by secrecy obligations.
