The territory’s Planning Minister has taken to social media to talk up plans of a new community centre for Woden.

The new four-storey centre will be located on the opposite side of Callam Street, opposite the new CIT and transport interchange that is currently under construction.

Chris Steel has posted on LINKED IN – the Centre will include areas for hire – such as meeting rooms, a multi-purpose hall and workshop spaces….

It’ll also serve as the permanent home for Woden Community Services.

Construction’s due to begin in 2026.
