A 24 year old woman has been arrested after she allegedly attacked her mother and aunt with a knife on the weekend.
About 10pm on Saturday, police were called to a home in Narrabundah, following reports a woman had attacked family members.
Police allege the woman attempted to stab her mother but missed, cutting her shoulder instead.
Her aunt intervened and tried to grab the knife, but the woman sliced her aunt’s hand before she attempted to stab her as well.
When police arrived, the 24 year old woman had left. She was located in Lyneham the next day where she was arrested.
The woman will face court today, charged with two counts of aggravated intentionally wounding a family member, and one count of aggravated reckless threat to kill a person.
