A woman is helping police in relation to an alleged assault inside a Civic nightclub in the early hours of Friday, 22 March 2024.

About 2am, police allege the woman, in the company of a 20-year-old Narrabundah woman and a 22-year-old Bonner woman, allegedly assaulted two other women in the upper level of Mooseheads Nightclub.

The trio then attempted to flee the club, but the 20-year-old woman and the 22-year-old woman were detained by security staff.

They were subsequently arrested and have both been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault.

At the weekend,  Police were seeking to identify the other woman involved in the alleged assault.
