A woman has been arrested after allegedly using the dark web to arrange and pay for the murder of two people in Canberra.
ACT Policing received a report from an international journalist that a person had made an online payment and shared details about how to target the two people.
Detectives executed a search warrant in Fadden yesterday and seized computer equipment as part of the investigation.
Police will allege the woman had agreed to pay 20 thousand dollars for the murders.
The 26-year-old has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and will face the ACT Magistrates Court today.
