A woman has been remanded in custody after allegedly using the dark web to try and arrange the murder of her parents.

The 26-year-old faced the ACT Magistrates Court yesterday after being charged with several offences, including attempted murder.

She did not enter any pleas or apply for bail and is expected to be back in court on the 22nd of December.

The identifies of the woman and her parents have been suppressed after the court heard the intended victims were “prominent Canberrans”.
