Under the government’s black spot program, work on one of Canberra’s worst intersections has officially begun this week.

Traffic lights will be installed at the intersection – and drivers will need to adhere to the reduced speed limit of 60km/h on around 800 metres of Hindmarsh Drive.

The work will be carried out during weekdays from 7am to 5pm – with weekend work performed, only if required.

The work is expected to take three months to be completed, weather permitting.
