Would be cattle rustlers put on notice, ACT Police are watching

ACT Police are putting any would by cattle rustlers on notice, announcing a renewed focus on rural crime including stock theft.

They will join their NSW counterparts in supporting operation stock check, a proactive initiative to prevent livestock theft by disrupting the movement of stolen stock.

Officer in charge of Rural Patrol Detective Acting Inspector Simon Coady says police will be confirming the origin of any stock being via road transport throughout the ACT.
