The social media platform once known as Twitter is in a fresh fight with the Canberra based E-Commissioner.

Court proceedings may NOT be going ahead, but X is now facing a six figure fine from Australia’s eSafety Commissioner.

In a statement, eSafety says the 615-thousand dollar penalty comes after X failed to respond, or failed to respond truthfully and accurately to questions, about meeting basic online safety expectations, in relation to child sexual expoitation and abuse material.

Twitter – as it was known before ELON MUSK took it over, responded in March last year.

X is defending itself, the matter goes to a hearing later this year.
