YASS VALLEY COUNCIL says it’s “Business As Usual” after the sacking this week of its Chief Executive Officer.

The sacking was with Immediate effect, though, no reasons were given… just a statement that was distributed, saying councillors had voted to sack Chris Berry.

Julie Costa will act in the role until a fulltime replacement can be found.

In the meantime, Mayor JASMIN JONES says it’s business as usual for ratepayers and residents….. and there’ll be no interruptions to service delivery during the transitional period.

Mr Berry had been with council nearly 10 years..
