Michelago Could Become a Satellite Suburb

Australia’s largest residential developer has released details of a plan which could see Michelago turned into a satellite suburb.

The Canberra Times reports Geocon would construct a mix of higher and lower density residential building in the town which currently consists of a population of around 500.

Police seeking witnesses to Latham crash

Police are seeking witnesses to a crash that left a passenger in a critical condition.

On Friday night two cars collided at the intersection of Kingsford Smith Drive and Southern Cross Drive in Latham.

Budget to include $167 million for ACT roads and rail

The Federal Government is committing more than $167 million to ACT roads and rail as part of the federal budget.

Key projects include $26.5 million  to duplicate the remaining sections of William Hovell Drive as well as $5 million for Gundaroo Drive Duplication and $2.5 million for upgrades to Beltana Road in Pialligo.
