The A.C.T. Chief Minister says its focus for 2024 will be improving the territory’s relationship with international markets.

Andrew Barr’s comment comes after recent figures showed Tourism numbers in the ACT are nearly back to pre-COVID levels

Figures have revealed, more than five million visitors have headed to the A.C.T. in a 12-month period.

According to Tourism Research Australia – that’s about 93 percent of the pre-covid levels.

The Chief Minister says Improving access to international markets will be key  in 2024.

Canberra’s five key international markets identified for attracting more visitors between now and 2025 includes New Zealand, Singapore, the UK, USA and India.
