The ACT will develop its own bushfire warning app based on NSW’s Fires Near Me.

It’s expected ACT users will receive alerts about nearby fires in both the ACT and NSW, with [plans for the data from the two jurisdictions to be integrated.

It’s hoped the app could be in action before the next bushfire season.
