Federal Police plan to throw the book at a man who allegedly broke into Canberra Airport, stealing an airline vehicle and driving through a fence.
The 31 year old Canberran is accused of scaling the airport fence more than a fortnight ago –
He then allegedly entered a restricted area and ran across the tarmac.
The man’s accused of stealing an airline van and driving across the runway, before smashing through an airport fence.
The van was later found at a house in Harrison.
The man was arrested earlier this week and will face court on a variety of charges.
