A 39-year old from Campbell will face court today (March 13), after being extradited from Queensland over drug trafficking and drug-related charges.

ACT Policing commenced an investigation into the alleged large-scale trafficking of meth, heroine and cocaine in the territory.

During the investigations, the man fled the ACT, later being found by Queensland Police on March 7, hiding in an Airbnb in Hideaway Bay in the Whitsundays.

He faced the ACT Magistrates Court on a number of charges today, with police saying more charges could be laid.
