Over the past week, the A.C.T. Government has released another series of election promises, if Labor wins the October Territory election.

Slashing the number of poker machines in the A.C.T. – and fast-tracking the introduction of cashless gaming.

ATM’s and EFTPOS withdrawals at clubs would be banned.

It’s all part of a plan to reduce gambling harm… in which poker machine licences would be reduced from 3,790 to just 1,000 by the year 2045.

The plan also features payments to clubs.

But it all hinges on Labor being re-elected, come the October territory election.
