The target employment figure for people with a disability in the APS is set to double by 2025 according to a new employment strategy due to be released today.

It will outline a directive for all public service agencies to focus on the attraction, recruitment and retention of more people with disability at all levels within the APS.

The release of the new strategy marks International Day of People with Disability.
