The Chief Minister remains confident, a stadium can still be built in Bruce – BUT he admits, it would be a “NO FRILLS” facility.

Andrew Barr’s comment comes after a report, presented last month – about estimates for various options for a stadium in Bruce.

The amount comes in between 1.3 and 1.9 billion dollars.

The figures have been attacked by the Canberra Liberals, and A.C.T. Senator DAVID POCOCK.

But the Chief Minister says the final build cost would actually be LESS…. and support from the Commonwealth would be a consideration.

Some design options have been ruled out, to keep costs down.
