A man will face court after doing a burnout in front of a marked police car.

Police were in the suburb of Gilmore when they say the 31-year-old man from Chisholm performed a burnout directly in front of their vehicle, with the entire incident captured on dash-cam.

The ute was stopped a short time later, with the driver returning a positive breath sample more than three times the legal limit.

His license was immediately suspended and the vehicle seized, he’s also facing a charge of drink driving and improper use of a motor vehicle.
